A compound wall was constructed by railway authorities to ensure people don’t trespass onto the tracks. But the reality is the wall has been broken down at several places by locals. “The tracks are even used as open-air lavatories by locals,” a railway police official said. Though railway officials said walking along the tracks or crossing them is trespassing.
