The Hyderabad based Sreeram Chandra just had the perfect Independence Day as he was declared winner of Indian Idol 5, thereby fulfilling his dream of winning a reality show – Indian Idol 5. He is now Indian Idol 5! And what’s Sreeram Chandra targeting next? He just cannot wait to sing in Bollywood it seems. In fact, Sreeram aspires to sing for Oscar award winning music director - A.R. Rahman. Ask Indian Idol 5 Winner Sreeram Chandra on this, he says, “I’m eyeing singing in Bollywood and strike big”.
"I wish to lend vocals for popular songs and earn a good reputation of being a good singer. I thrive on excellence and foster my singing skills by rubbing shoulders with top notch music composers, AR Rahman in particular”, adjoins Sreeram. The greatest thing about Sreeram Chandra’s victory in Indian Idol 5 is that he does not hail from a music background.
